It's been different being back in Chicago. It's been awhile since I've been here for a long period. I have to admit it is really nice being back by my family. I've kind of missed them. I'm still looking for a house, a place for Gianna and I, I've seen a few places but nothing I've really liked so far.
Anyway, it's time to start dinner and help G with her homework.

Gigi was in a car accident. I don't have many details. It sounds bad though. Needless to say Gianna and I are waiting for the first flight to Chicago. It leaves in half an hour.
Apparently my sister being in the hospital isn't enough reason to take off early.
And I'm trying not to freak out. I don't want to upset G anymore than she already is.

Taking Gout trick or treating in a little bit. Her teachers were very kind and have her no homework. I didn't give my students any either.
She's being batgirl. She's pretty adorable but I'm a little biased.

I cannot believe how quickly summer went by. It seemed to fly by. But it's back to reality. My students are great and the year is off to a great start. Even if it is only three days into the year. At least it is a nice easy week back.
